RIO – O SAG Awards de 2017, a premiação concedida pelo do Sindicato dos Atores de Hollywood e considerada uma das principais prévias do Oscar, foi realizada na noite deste domingo.
?Estrelas além do tempo? foi o vencedor na categoria melhor elenco de filme. Denzel Washington levou o prêmio de melhor ator por sua atuação em ?Fences? e Emma Stone ficou com o troféu de melhor atriz por ?La La Land?, repetindo o feito no Globo de Ouro, assim como Viola Davis, vencedora na categoria atriz coadjuvante por ?Fences?.
?The crown? arrebatou os principais prêmios de atuação na categoria TV. O prêmio de melhor atriz foi para Claire Foy, a Rainha Elizabeth II, que já tinha ganhado o Globo de Ouro, e o de melhor ator coadjuvante para John Lithgow.
?Stranger things? ganhou como melhor elenco de série dramática, enquanto ?Orange is the new black? ficou com o troféu de melhor elenco de série cômica.
